A little preparation means you can relax when you get here.
We take care of the retreat arrangements included in your booking, but there are some things
that remain your responsibility as a traveller.
The most important is having appropriate personal travel insurance for your trip.
Personal travel insurance
Our Compensa financial guarantee protects against specified risks connected with us as the retreat/package organiser.
It is not personal travel insurance and does not replace it.
You are responsible for arranging your own travel insurance and making sure the policy you choose is appropriate for your personal circumstances, your journey and the activities you intend to take part in.
Depending on the policy you choose, you may wish to check that your cover includes things such as:
cancellation or having to cut your trip short;
illness, accident and medical treatment;
travel delays or disruption;
missed or changed transport;
lost, stolen or damaged belongings;
any activities you intend to take part in during your trip.
Please read your own policy carefully. We cannot advise you which insurance policy or level of cover is suitable for you.
Getting yourself to Poland
Travel to and from Poland is not included in your retreat booking.
You are responsible for arranging your own flights, trains or other transport to reach the agreed meeting point for your retreat.
You are also responsible for:
checking your passport is valid for your journey;
checking any visa or entry requirements that apply to you;
making sure your travel arrangements allow enough time to reach the agreed meeting point;
keeping us informed of significant changes or delays that could affect your arrival.
Group transfers
Where a scheduled group transfer from Kraków is included in your particular retreat, the meeting time and location will be provided before you travel.
If you miss the agreed transfer because your flight or other travel arrangements are delayed, changed or missed, you will be responsible for arranging and paying for alternative transport to Beskidzka Apartments.
We'll help with practical information where we reasonably can, but additional transport costs are not included.
Health, medication & personal needs
You are responsible for deciding whether the retreat and any activities included are suitable for you.
Please tell us in advance about any relevant accessibility requirements, or other practical needs that could affect your stay so that we can tell you what we can reasonably accommodate.
If you take regular medication, please make sure you bring enough for your trip and keep anything essential with you while travelling.
Our retreats do not replace medical, psychological or other professional healthcare.
During your retreat
We want everyone to be able to relax and enjoy being here.
You'll be expected to:
follow the accommodation and retreat rules;
behave respectfully towards other guests, retreat leaders, staff and the property;
follow reasonable safety instructions;
take reasonable care of your own belongings;
let us know promptly if there is a problem that we may be able to resolve during your stay.
Your individual retreat may also have additional requirements depending on its programme. These will be made clear before you book or in your booking information.
Know what's included in your retreat
Every retreat is different.
Your individual retreat sales page and booking paperwork will explain exactly what is included in the price — for example accommodation, agreed transfers, sessions, activities or other services.
Anything not specifically listed as included should not be assumed to form part of your booking.
If you're unsure about something before booking, please ask.
Financial protection and personal travel insurance are different things
Our organiser financial protection exists for specified circumstances connected with us as the organiser.
Your travel insurance is there to provide whatever personal protection is included in the policy you choose.
That's why you need both sides of the picture.
We take responsibility for what we've agreed to provide.
You take responsibility for your personal travel arrangements, insurance and circumstances.
Together, that means everyone knows where they stand before the retreat begins.
