You've taken the first step.

Here's what happens next.

2027: 2 spaces remaining | 2028: 3 spaces available

Thanks for telling me a little about your retreat idea.

I'll take a look at what you've sent and I'll be in touch shortly.

In the meantime, this page takes you a little further behind the scenes.

You'll see how we'll explore whether your idea could actually work, what happens before we decide to go ahead, how the financial side can be structured and how much — or how little — support you can have from me along the way.

Nothing is decided yet.

For now, you've simply done the most important bit:

You've stopped saying “one day…” and told me about the idea.

Starting early gives us an advantage.

You already know that I only support three retreats each year, which is why we're talking about your idea well before you necessarily want to run it.

But there's another reason I like to start early:

It gives your retreat a better chance of selling.

Planning early doesn't mean we have to put your retreat on sale immediately.

It gives us time to work out what we're creating, who it's for, what it needs to cost and when we want to open bookings.

And while we're doing that, you can start preparing your audience.

Talk about the idea. Ask questions. Find out what excites people. Mention that you're working on something. Share little glimpses as it starts to take shape.

Then, when we finally say:

“THE DOORS ARE OPEN!”

…it isn't the first time your audience has heard about it.

They've already had time to imagine themselves there.

And we can make it easier for people to say yes.

Starting early also gives us more flexibility around how your guests pay.

When we're building your retreat, we'll discuss what is likely to work for your audience and create an appropriate booking and payment structure around it.

That could mean an initial payment to secure their place, followed by manageable monthly instalments that spread the remaining cost over the months leading up to the retreat.

So rather than asking someone to find the full cost in one go — or leaving them with a large payment at the end — we can make the cost easier to plan for and manage.

The exact payment plan is something we'll work out together when we build your retreat.

Starting early gives us time to build the retreat, time for you to build the demand for it and time for your audience to make saying YES possible.

How it works

Free 30-minute conversation.

1 — Tell me your idea

No awkwardness. We've discovered it isn't right yet.

2 — Let's see if it stacks up

We discuss and explore the practicalities, numbers and possibilities. Then we meet again once I have crunched numbers and proposed a plan.

3 — GO or NO

NO GO → £0

Your retreat is confirmed.
Your agreed leader payment can be released once sufficient attendee funds have been received, your guests can make their final plans, and we move into getting everything ready to welcome them to Poland.
And if you've sold beyond the minimum? Even better — any additional leader payment we've agreed will be calculated from the final number of fully paid guests and paid at the agreed point before the retreat.

3 — GO or NO

GO → £250

Now we build it properly.

5 — Did we hit the minimum numbers?

By the agreed confirmation date, we'll know whether we've reached the minimum number of bookings needed to make your retreat work.

4 — We build it. You sell it.

I create the retreat and booking infrastructure with you. You take the finished sales page to your audience.

5 — Hit minimum numbers

🎉 WE HAVE A RETREAT.

5 — Don't hit minimum numbers

NOT QUITE? THAT'S OKAY.

The retreat doesn't go ahead.
Your guests are refunded in accordance with the booking terms, you're not left with a venue bill or thousands of pounds of retreat costs to cover, and you don't have to come to Poland to deliver something that hasn't sold.

The initial £250 Retreat Set-Up Fee isn't refundable — because by this point we've already planned, costed, created and put your retreat on sale.

And that's your total financial risk.

You're not working for free

And yes, you get paid

Your expertise is part of what people are buying.

We'll agree what you're being paid before the retreat goes on sale and build it into the attendee price.

Your accommodation while you're here delivering the retreat is included.

Example: Two retreat leaders

Once minimum numbers have been reached and sufficient attendee funds have been received, the agreed base leader payment can be made.

Any additional payment linked to extra bookings is paid around 8–10 weeks before the retreat, once the required attendee payments have been received.

Minimum numbers reached
→ £400 each

Each additional attendee
→ £50 each

Accommodation included.

This is an example only. Every retreat is costed individually depending on what we're creating, the number of leaders, the level of support required and what's included.

Beskidzka Apartments - Your retreat. Our place.

If we decide to go ahead, your retreat will be hosted here at Beskidzka Apartments in Sucha Beskidzka.

You've already seen a little about the venue on the previous page. When we start planning your retreat, we'll work through the sleeping arrangements, teaching space and practical use of the property specifically for your group.

We'll work out the accommodation around your group.

Beskidzka Apartments gives us flexibility to use the two apartments for a combination of shared and private sleeping spaces, leader accommodation and communal/teaching space.

The exact room configuration depends on the number of attendees and retreat leaders, and we'll agree this while we're building your retreat.

Some attendees will need to be comfortable sharing a bedroom. We'll make the sleeping arrangements clear before the retreat goes on sale.

Most retreats will be around 3 or 4 nights, but we'll work out the length that best suits your programme, audience and numbers rather than forcing your idea into a fixed package.

So what happens now?

Nothing else you need to do.

You've sent me your retreat idea, and I'll be in touch shortly once I've had a chance to look at what you've told me.

If I think it's something worth exploring together, our first conversation is simply that — a conversation.

We'll talk about your idea, your audience and what you'd love to create.

You don't need to prepare a business plan.

You don't need to know what to charge.

You don't need a finished itinerary.

And you definitely don't need all the answers.

That's what the process is for.

For now, go and enjoy the fact that your “maybe one day…” retreat has just taken its first little step towards becoming something real.
