Our standard cancellation framework
As a general guide, cancellation charges increase as we get closer to the retreat date because more of the arrangements, costs and commitments associated with your place will already have been made.
Our standard framework is:
If you cancel - Standard cancellation charge
More than 180 days before arrival 10% of the retreat price
120–180 days before arrival 30%
84–119 days before arrival 50%
56–83 days before arrival 75%
Less than 56 days before arrival 100%
Your individual retreat may have different cancellation terms.
Every retreat is slightly different. Before booking, you'll be given the exact cancellation schedule that applies to your retreat, taking into account its particular arrangements and commitments.
Your applicable cancellation terms will also form part of your booking paperwork.
The cancellation schedule supplied with your confirmed booking is the one that applies to your booking.
This means there should never be any uncertainty about what would happen if you later needed to cancel.
If you need to cancel your place
You can cancel your retreat booking at any time before the retreat begins.
Please let us know in writing as soon as possible.
Depending on how close we are to the retreat, a cancellation charge may apply. The applicable cancellation terms and charges will be clearly stated when you book and in your retreat agreement.
Any cancellation charge will take into account the timing of your cancellation, costs and commitments already incurred in connection with your booking, costs we are able to save and, where applicable, whether your place or the relevant services can be used by somebody else.
If a refund is due after the applicable cancellation charge has been deducted, it will be returned in accordance with the terms of your booking.
Can somebody take my place?
Depending on the circumstances and the particular retreat, it may be possible for another suitable person to take your place.
Please contact us before making arrangements with somebody else.
We'll let you know whether a transfer is possible and whether there are any additional costs or practical requirements involved.
Where we can reasonably accommodate a replacement guest, we'd much rather help you find a solution than leave an empty retreat place.
If you're paying by instalments
Choosing a payment plan doesn't change the cancellation terms attached to your booking.
If you cancel, the amount due will be calculated according to the cancellation terms applicable to your retreat rather than simply according to how much you happen to have paid by that date.
We'll always explain your payment schedule and cancellation terms before you book.
If minimum numbers aren't reached
Every retreat has a minimum number of guests required for it to go ahead.
That number — and the date by which we'll make the final decision — will be clearly stated for your particular retreat.
If we don't reach the required minimum and we cancel the retreat, you'll receive a full refund of the retreat payments you've made to us.
We therefore recommend that you don't make non-refundable travel arrangements until your retreat has been confirmed.
If we have to cancel
Very occasionally, circumstances may mean that we have to cancel a retreat.
Your rights and the options available to you will depend on the circumstances and will be dealt with in accordance with your retreat agreement and applicable law.
Where we cancel because the required minimum number of participants hasn't been reached, payments made to us for the retreat will be refunded in full.
Unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances
There are circumstances in which applicable package-travel law may give you the right to cancel before the retreat without paying a cancellation charge.
This can apply where unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occur at, or close to, the retreat destination and significantly affect the performance of the retreat package or the transport of travellers to the destination.
Any such situation will be considered in accordance with the applicable law and the circumstances at the time.
Travel to and from Poland
Unless your individual retreat specifically says otherwise, your travel to and from Poland — including flights — is not included in the retreat package.
If you miss an included scheduled transfer because your travel plans change or your flight is delayed or cancelled, you will need to make and pay for alternative arrangements to reach Beskidzka Apartments.
For this reason, we strongly recommend appropriate personal travel insurance from the time you book.
Your individual retreat
Different retreats have different prices, dates, inclusions, payment schedules and practical arrangements.
The sales page and booking information for your particular retreat will therefore set out the details specific to that retreat and should be read alongside this Cancellation Policy and your contractual Terms & Conditions.
If anything specific to your retreat differs from the general information on this page, we'll make that clear before you book.

Retreat Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change.
When you book one of our retreats, however, we also start making commitments on your behalf — reserving accommodation, arranging transport, confirming retreat leaders and putting everything needed for your retreat in place.
This cancellation policy explains what happens if you need to cancel your place, if we don't reach the minimum number of guests required for a retreat to go ahead, or if we have to cancel a retreat ourselves.
